Before quotation

Open questions
are part of the brief.

A

Confirm the locating relationship

Which housing surface is the datum? Supply the mating-part drawing and agree the required clearance before assigning a tolerance.

B

Choose the material deliberately

Will the plate be used in a dry assembly area or exposed to cleaning chemicals? Material and finish depend on the environment.

C

Define acceptance

Agree who validates the first assembly, which features are measured and whether a sample approval is needed before the remaining sets.
